Why it exists
AI coding tools let people put real applications on the internet without first becoming security specialists. Seren is built for founders, indie developers, and small teams who need to know what matters, why it matters, and what to fix first.
Security review
Give Seren a URL and it maps the site, checks for security issues, and brings the findings into one review. Coverage includes application configuration, authentication, exposed content, and AI features.
The analysis connects related findings into a threat model and explains which work needs attention first. It also highlights findings relevant to payments, privacy, accessibility, and AI regulation, to identify areas that need closer review.
How it works
A Python service coordinates site discovery, security checks, and AI analysis. A React interface brings projects, scans, findings, and reports together, including a visual view of the discovered site structure. Results are stored so users can return to earlier scans. Keeping the checks and analysis separate allows the reports to explain the evidence in language a non-specialist can use.
The core application works end to end in local use.
Testing before launch
I am looking for founders, indie developers, and small teams who have built sites or applications with AI tools and want a clearer security review. Early testing will focus on whether the priorities make sense, the explanations are clear, and each finding leads to a practical next step.
Seren is not publicly available yet. Release preparation is continuing alongside this work.
